The Lounge is where work ends and everything else begins.
This is the social and entertainment side of the cloud: the Discord server where we hang out, the media apps for watching together, the comics reader for quieter evenings, and the photo library for shared memories.
You do not need to be building something to belong here. Just show up.

Discord¶
Discord is one of our main gathering places. It is where conversations happen, events get organized, and most of the community is active and talking.
Whether you want to chat, coordinate a game night, share something cool, or just idle and listen, Discord is where you will find people. You can find me on Discord.

We run our own media stack so streaming stays private, ad-free, and available when it is needed.
📺 Jellyfin¶
The streaming room¶
Jellyfin is the primary media server for movies and shows. It streams without tracking, ads, or subscription gates, and supports watching together remotely through SyncPlay.
Getting started¶
- Use the web client or install the Jellyfin app on your device.
- Browse libraries by genre, year, or collection.
- Start a SyncPlay session when you want to watch something together.
- Use the subtitle and audio track selector for any title with multiple options.

📖 Komga¶
Comics and manga library¶
Komga is the dedicated reader for comics, manga, and magazines. It handles large libraries cleanly, tracks your reading progress across devices, and pulls metadata automatically so browsing is pleasant.
Reading comfortably¶
- Find your title by series, tag, or publisher.
- Your progress syncs automatically if you are signed in.
- Use the reading direction setting for manga series (right-to-left).
- Mark series as read or on-hold to keep your list organized.

🖼️ Immich¶
Shared memories¶
Immich is the photo and video library for personal backups and shared community albums. Everything stays on self-hosted infrastructure with no third-party access.
Using the library well¶
- Enable automatic mobile backup to keep your photos safe without thinking about it.
- Use shared albums for events, trips, or moments worth keeping together.
- Search by face, place, or date when you cannot remember exactly where something was.
- Review and clean duplicates periodically so the library stays fast.
