Server sleep behavior

The server may go to sleep after being idle for some time.

If you are the first person to connect while it is sleeping, you may get a connection error at first. Wait about 1 minute, then try again. You can check it on the Server Status page.

🚀 Quick Start

  1. Install and open the CurseForge launcher.
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
  3. Install the modpack, and verify the version.
  4. Ask an admin to whitelist your Minecraft username.
  5. Launch this modpack from the CurseForge launcher.
  6. From the Minecraft main menu: Multiplayer -> Add Server -> paste the Server Address. Server name is optional.
  7. Join the game, survive badly for a while, then survive slightly better.

In-Game Voice Chat Setup

Press F9 in game to open the voice chat configuration menu.

Optional Visual Upgrade

This modpack comes with shader packs. Enabling a shader pack is recommended if your system can handle it.

  1. Open Minecraft game menu (Main Menu or press Esc when in game to open Pause Menu).
  2. Go to Options -> Video Settings -> select Oculus tab at left.
  3. Select a shader pack from the list and click Done. It may take a minute to load.
  4. If FPS drops too much, try picking a lighter preset.

📌 Server Brief

This is our modded Minecraft server running the Minecraft DeceasedCraft modpack.

DeceasedCraft is a heavier survival modpack, so expect a harsher world than vanilla Minecraft. Bring patience, snacks, and the emotional maturity to lose your base at least once.

🛠️ Common Issues

Cannot Join Server

  • Confirm you installed DeceasedCraft from the pinned install link.
  • Confirm you are on the correct version.
  • Confirm your Minecraft username is whitelisted.
  • Confirm the server is online from the status page.
  • If the server was idle, your first connection can fail while it wakes up. Wait 1 minute and retry.

Mod Mismatch or Missing Mods

  • Re-open CurseForge and run a profile repair/update.
  • Make sure no extra mods were manually added to the instance.
  • Reinstall the profile from the pinned install link if the mismatch continues.

Performance Problems

  • Allocate more RAM in the CurseForge profile settings.
  • Lower render distance, simulation distance, particles, and entity shadows.
  • Close browsers or launchers you are not using. This pack likes memory.
